Exercise can be fun

Everyone, at some time in their life, has heard something along the lines of”exercise is supposed to be fun, do something you like and you will be fit and healthy”. This is a severe falsity. Daily chores like mowing the lawn, gardening, vacuuming, and other straightforward tasks aren’t exercise.

See, there are lots of men and women who”enjoy” this sort of action and are led into the fact that this is ample exercise to be fit. These are everyday activities your body needs just to burn basic calories in order to not store an overage of fat. Other activities like walking, running, jogging, swimming, and more are great you’re your heart and are enjoyable activities for most, but are not what your body needs so as to function efficiently.

Unfortunately; however, our society has been led to believe that this is enough. It’s this mentality that has made us a lazy, overweight society. Return into the old days where we had to actually work for everything we wanted, including food. Why; since they did not sit around on their bums watching TV and driving their cars to the nearest fast food restaurant for nearly every meal.

But, that’s beside the point. Appropriate exercise and fitness is not”fun”. Over time you may grow to enjoy it, but it’s by no means fun. In actuality, it should hurt a little. Thus, what is proper exercise? When you work to develop and pull your muscles you’re working your body correctly. Working muscles is a tiring chore and it should hurt somewhat during and after; this indicates you did a fantastic job.

In fact, this is where extending comes in as well. Make sure to stretch well before and after every work out and it’ll help to eliminate the stiffness of your joints and muscles, butback to working out properly. See, your body requires more muscle than fat so as to work properly and efficiently. When you give your body what it needs, it really works for you instead of against you. When you do other”fun” exercises like swimming and walking you are not challenging your muscles as is needed.

This is why, over the years, we have become thicker and thicker. If these”fun” activities truly worked, would our society be suffering like it’s health wise? It is time to begin caring for ourselves again and start focusing on proper exercise rather than fun activities. Fun activities are for your spare time; proper exercise is for you sexy, sleek body and your health. If you have any plans to live a long life and revel in your years with your own grand and even great grandchildren, it is time to work your body as you’ve never worked it before.
